Brevo has a Free plan and three paid plans: Starter from $9, Standard from $18 and Professional from $499 a month.
Unlike most email tools, Brevo prices by emails sent per month, not by contacts. That makes it cheap for big lists you email a few times a month.

Standard is the plan most small businesses end up on. It is the first tier with automation and the first without the “Sent with Brevo” footer.

Standard goes up to 500,000 emails a month at $429. Starter stops at 100,000.
Yearly billing knocks 10% off every tier. Standard at 10,000 emails drops from $35 to $31.50 a month.
The contact limits nobody mentions
Brevo is famous for “unlimited contacts”, and that is true on the free plan, which stores up to 100,000. Paid plans are different at the low end.
On Starter and Standard, the 5,000 email tier allows 500 contacts, the 10,000 tier allows 1,500 and the 15,000 tier allows 2,500 (Brevo pricing data).
From 20,000 emails a month the limit jumps to 500,000 contacts. So if you have 3,000 subscribers, budget for at least the 20,000 email tier, even if you only send one newsletter a week.
What the Brevo free plan includes
The free plan lets you send up to 300 emails a day once Brevo approves your account (Brevo FAQ). That is about 9,000 a month if you spread sends out.
You get the drag and drop editor, templates, forms and transactional email. Every email carries Brevo branding.
The 300 a day cap is the catch. You cannot send one newsletter to 2,000 people at once on Free, which is why most growing lists move to Starter.
Starter vs Standard: which one?
Standard
Pick Standard if you want welcome sequences, abandoned cart emails or any automation. Brevo lists marketing automation as a Standard feature, along with A/B testing, send time optimisation and no logo.
Starter
Pick Starter if you only send newsletters and campaigns and are happy to show the Brevo logo. It is roughly half the price of Standard at most volumes.
Watch the logo maths. Starter plus the $10.80 logo removal add on costs about the same as Standard at low volumes, and Standard includes automation too.
Add ons and extra costs
- Remove Brevo logo: $10.80 a month on Starter.
- Extra users: $12 a month per seat on Starter and Standard.
- SMS and WhatsApp: priced by volume and country.
- Sales CRM: Sales Essentials is $27.92 a month per seat.
- Pay as you go credits: email credits that never expire, for occasional senders.
Is Brevo worth it?
Brevo is excellent value if you have a large list and send a few campaigns a month. Charging by emails rather than contacts can save a lot compared with Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
It is weaker for tiny lists that need automation, because Standard is the entry point for workflows.
